Inspired by the famous Marvel crossover ‘The Infinity Gauntlet’, this Iron Studios figurine depicts Wolverine / Logan in the midst of a battle against Thanos. Part of the Battle Diorama Series – BDS Art Scale 1/10 range, it depicts the X-Men mutant in a particularly dynamic, aggressive pose, with his claws fully extended. This piece is designed to be displayed on its own or alongside the other figurines from the Infinity Gauntlet diorama developed by Iron Studios.

Wolverine is depicted here wearing his classic yellow and brown costume, directly inspired by his appearance in the comics. Crouching in mid-motion, he leans his body forwards, arms outstretched and his six adamantium claws extended. Character background and universe (Lore)

Wolverine, whose real name is James Howlett and who is generally known as Logan, is a mutant with, amongst other abilities, a powerful healing factor. Captured by the Weapon X programme, he underwent an experiment during which adamantium was bonded to his skeleton and retractable claws. After escaping the programme, Logan joined the X-Men, among others, and became one of their most iconic members.

This figurine is set in the universe of *The Infinity Gauntlet*, a Marvel mini-series published in 1991 and written by Jim Starlin, with artwork by George Pérez and later Ron Lim. In this cosmic tale, Thanos gathers the six Infinity Stones and gains near-omnipotent power, going so far as to wipe out half of all living beings in the universe. The surviving heroes then band together to try to stop him.

Wolverine is one of the heroes involved in this battle against Thanos. His healing factor, combat experience and adamantium claws make him one of the fighters engaged in the desperate assault against the Mad Titan.
