Origin and character background (Lore)
Created by the writer Alan Alexander Milne and brought to life by Disney Animation Studios, Tigger is one of the most boisterous, funny and endearing residents of the Hundred Acre Wood. Unlike his calmer or more anxious friends such as Winnie, Piglet or Rabbit, Tigger is bursting with infectious energy and spends most of his time bouncing frantically on his own tail, which acts as a veritable mechanical spring. Proudly and mischievously asserting that ‘the thing tigers do best is pounce’, he goes through life with childlike carefreeness, although his natural clumsiness regularly causes gentle disasters in his neighbours’ vegetable patches. With a heart of gold, he is a loyal friend, always ready to embark on grand imaginary expeditions alongside Jean-Christophe and the young Little Guru. This plush rucksack or keyring captures the very essence of this dynamic character, bringing a burst of joie de vivre, a touch of comforting nostalgia and a dash of colourful fantasy to all your daily journeys.
