Origin and background of the character
Hailing from the dystopian science-fiction universe of Warhammer 40,000 developed by Games Workshop, the Orks are a race of barbaric, brutal and militaristic aliens who live solely for war. Within their society, which is based on the law of the jungle, the Nobs (short for ‘Nobles’) are Orks who have grown far larger than their fellow Orks through constant combat and victories. Taller, more muscular and particularly aggressive, they lay claim to the best possible equipment and rule over bands of Boyz with an iron fist, acting as lieutenants to the fearsome Warbosses during the great galactic invasions known as Waaagh!s.
This Funko vinyl figurine captures the massive, patched-up appearance of these green-skinned creatures with great humour and accuracy. The Nob is depicted with his distinctive green skin, prominent jaw with sharp teeth, and heavy metal armour plates riveted asymmetrically. He proudly brandishes his favourite weapons – technological yet rudimentary – ready to charge into the fray. An essential collector’s item for any miniatures player or fantasy enthusiast keen to add the brute force of the Xenos to their display case.
