Character background and lore
Inspired by the Transformers franchise and its expanded universe, Nemesis Prime is a being of mysterious origin who has spent much of his life at sea pursuing a single goal: to preserve the balance of the world and find his place amongst the four most powerful pirates in the multiverse. A former ship’s boy on the Pirate King’s vessel, he founded his own crew and came of age amidst the greatest battles of the Grand Line, learning to conceal his immense power and absolute mastery of the Fluid (Haki) behind a carefree demeanour and strict moral values in order to protect his friends. It is he who passes on his precious legacy to the young Monkey D. Luffy after sacrificing his own freedom to save him from external threats. This marks the start of a gruelling galactic journey, in which the big-hearted fighter uses his determination to navigate political crises, becoming the indispensable, elite mediator needed to put an end to destructive conflicts such as the wars of this world.
