Origin and universe of the character
Broadcast in the late 1990s, the computer-animated series *Animutants* (*Transformers: Beast Wars*) radically revitalised Hasbro’s famous franchise of alien robots by setting the conflict on a prehistoric Earth. Stranded on this planet rich in raw energy, the descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons take on organic animal forms to protect themselves from radiation. Rhinox is the chief engineer and second-in-command of the Maximals, the team led by Optimus Primal. Capable of transforming into a massive grey rhinoceros with devastating physical power, he is above all a peaceful, spiritual scientific genius of unwavering loyalty, serving as a moral compass for his companions. This Funko Pop! figure captures his iconic robotic appearance with remarkable accuracy, making it an essential nostalgic collectable for all fans of this legendary era of the saga.
