Origin and character lore
First introduced in the first film of the Toy Story saga, released in 1995 by Pixar Studios, the Aliens (or Little Green Men) are small, squeaky plastic figurines living inside the famous claw machine at the Pizza Planet themed restaurant. With three wide, round eyes, a blue spacesuit-like suit and an antenna on their heads, they share an absolute and mystical reverence for the mechanical claw, which they regard as a supreme deity who chooses who will be sent off to a better world. Their fate takes a dramatic turn in *Toy Story 2* when Mr Potato Head saves them from certain death during a car stunt. Eternally grateful, they are adopted by the Potato Heads and never tire of repeating their catchphrase: ‘You saved us, we owe you eternal gratitude!’ This Fuzzy notebook celebrates all the cuteness, naivety and cult humour of these little beings from another world, inviting you to confide your secrets to ‘Grappin’ on every page.
