Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Smarty Pants is at the heart of the modern issues introduced in the animated film Toy Story 5. In this instalment of the Disney Pixar film saga, the historic toy community (led by Buzz and Woody) finds itself confronted by the emergence of new technologies and connected electronic devices that capture children's attention. Smarty Pants is one of the latest educational and interactive devices to enter the toy box. A character who is both rigid by nature and electronic, but who has his own personality once out of sight of humans, he illustrates the conflict and cohabitation between traditional plastic or fabric toys and today's digital generation.
