Origin and world of the character
The design of this miniature figure is inspired by the animated feature film The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Derived from the original TV series created by Stephen Hillenburg in 1999 for Nickelodeon, this universe features SpongeBob, an anthropomorphic sea sponge who lives in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. References to the world of piracy are recurrent in the franchise's stories, notably through the character of the Flying Dutchman or during specific thematic sequences where the protagonist and his friends from Bikini Bottom adopt privateer outfits to carry out quests or voyages of exploration.
