Origin and character background
Pam Beesly (later Pam Halpert) is one of the central characters and the emotional heart of the American comedy television series *The Office*, adapted by Greg Daniels and broadcast between 2005 and 2013 on NBC. Played by Jenna Fischer, Pam begins her career at the paper company Dunder Mifflin in Scranton as a shy receptionist, often caught up in the clumsy authority of her manager, Michael Scott. Gentle, reserved and passionate about art, she spends her days escaping the dreary office routine through the many pranks she orchestrates with her accomplice and best friend, the sales rep Jim Halpert. This classic version of the character showcases her iconic look from the early seasons, perfectly capturing the innocence and kindness that make her one of the most endearing and iconic characters in the series’ universe.
