Origin and character’s universe
Michael Scott is the central protagonist of the American comedy television series *The Office*, adapted by Greg Daniels and broadcast between 2005 and 2013 on NBC. Masterfully portrayed by Steve Carell, Michael is the regional manager of the Dunder Mifflin branch in Scranton. Convinced that he is an exceptional boss, an unrivalled comedian and his employees’ best friend, he stands out above all for his crass lack of tact, his inappropriate jokes and his utterly unproductive work meetings. Despite his countless blunders and his deep-seated fear of loneliness, Michael has a huge heart and a sincere affection for his team, whom he regards as his real family. This classic version captures the very essence of the character at his desk, establishing itself as the absolute centrepiece to start or complete your collection dedicated to this cult series.
