Origin and background of the symbol

The Trojan Horse is one of the most famous episodes associated with the Trojan War. According to tradition, the Greeks built a huge wooden horse presented as an offering, whilst concealing warriors inside it. Once brought into the city, this stratagem enabled the capture of Troy, making the horse a universal symbol of cunning, strategy and victory through intelligence.

In the ancient tales associated with the *Iliad*, the *Odyssey* and the Trojan cycle, this episode is often linked to the ingenuity of Odysseus, a hero renowned for his caution, his tactical acumen and his ability to survive through his intelligence. The Trojan Horse thus embodies one of the major turning points in Greek mythology, at the crossroads of war, fate and the manipulation of appearances.

This notebook features this symbol in an elegant and functional design, ideal for writing, taking notes or building a collection inspired by the great ancient epics.
