See Haruhi Suzumiya in one of her most recognisable outfits with this collectable figurine from Banpresto. Standing approximately 19 cm tall, she depicts the founder of the SOS Brigade dressed in a black bunny girl outfit, striking an energetic pose that perfectly reflects her exuberant personality and self-assurance.
Haruhi wears a shiny black leotard paired with dark tights, matching high heels and white cuffs. A small black bow tie completes the outfit, whilst her long rabbit ears and white tail provide the characteristic details of this costume, which has become iconic in the series.
The figurine strikes a particularly dynamic pose: her body is slightly tilted, one leg is raised and one arm is stretched out in front of her. Her smiling expression and pointed index finger reinforce the sense of movement and capture the character’s boundless energy. The yellow ribbon in her hair adds a splash of colour immediately associated with Haruhi.
Haruhi Suzumiya is a brilliant, bossy secondary school pupil who is perpetually on the hunt for extraordinary phenomena. Uninterested in an ordinary school life, she claims she wants to meet aliens, time travellers and people with supernatural powers. She therefore founds the SOS Brigade, a club dedicated to investigating mysteries and unexplained events, and draws Kyon and several other pupils into her activities.
Without being fully aware of it, Haruhi herself possesses a power capable of altering reality according to her emotions and desires. The other members of the SOS Brigade therefore seek to maintain her balance whilst concealing their true nature. Her energy, her unpredictability and her desire to turn everyday life into an adventure take centre stage in *The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya*.
