Measuring approximately 14 cm, this figurine depicts Kaoruko in a gentle, natural seated pose, true to the warm and soothing atmosphere of the series. Her kind expression and relaxed demeanour perfectly capture the character’s radiant personality.
FuRyu’s Noodle Stopper range is characterised by its seated figurines, originally designed to be placed on the lid of an instant noodle cup to keep it closed using their own weight. Their posture also makes them easy to display on the edge of a shelf, a desk or any other suitable flat surface.
This interpretation of Kaoruko favours a simple and elegant presentation, particularly suited to the romantic, everyday atmosphere of *The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity*. It allows the character to take centre stage without resorting to a combat pose or grandiose effects.

Kaoruko Waguri is one of the main protagonists of *The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity*, a school romance centred on the meeting of two teenagers from secondary schools that seem to be polar opposites. The anime’s official website lists her directly amongst the story’s central characters.
Kaoruko is a pupil at the prestigious Kikyo Girls’ High School, a school situated near Chidori High School, which Rintaro Tsumugi attends.
Relations between the two schools are particularly strained. Kikyo has a reputation for being elitist, whilst Chidori is often judged much more harshly by pupils at the neighbouring school.
Kaoruko, however, gets to know Rintaro beyond these preconceptions, particularly through the bakery run by his family. She thus comes to know the young man for who he really is, rather than through the intimidating image his appearance can sometimes convey.
This ability to look beyond appearances is one of Kaoruko’s defining traits. She is naturally warm, sincere and attentive towards Rintaro, forging a relationship with him based above all on trust and respect.
The story gradually develops their growing closeness whilst exploring the tensions between their two school environments. This contrast becomes one of the main obstacles they must learn to overcome.
Kaoruko also stands out for her very natural way of relating to others. Behind her delicate exterior lies a personality capable of clearly expressing her feelings and standing up for the people she cares about.
Official interviews about the anime adaptation also highlight the importance placed on the way the characters—particularly Kaoruko and Rintaro—put their emotions into words and build their relationship through particularly sincere communication.
The story of Kaoruko and Rintaro therefore relies less on spectacular plot twists than on a succession of small moments, conversations and gestures that gradually break down the social barriers between them.
This Noodle Stopper figurine perfectly captures this atmosphere: a simple, peaceful depiction of Kaoruko that highlights her gentleness and naturalness more effectively than any spectacular scene could.
