Background: The iconic figure from cinema’s most famous detention scene
From John Hughes’ 1985 masterpiece, The Breakfast Club is the definitive teen movie and a cornerstone of 1980s culture. The plot brings together five high school students with completely contrasting personalities, forced to spend their entire Saturday together in detention. Claire Standish, masterfully portrayed by Molly Ringwald, plays the popular, wealthy and envied ‘princess’, who nevertheless hides immense family and existential pressure beneath her apparent frivolity. This stylised figurine brilliantly captures her iconic chic and sophisticated look. It is the perfect piece to complete your collection of cult films and relive the emotion of this legendary generational closed-door drama.
