Ruthye Marye Knoll is the deuteragonist and narrator of the acclaimed comic book Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, written by Tom King and drawn by Bilquis Evely. Hailing from a far-flung, medieval, rural world, her life is turned upside down when the criminal Krem of the Yellow Hills murders her father before her very eyes. Driven by a thirst for justice and revenge, she leaves her home planet in search of a mercenary and crosses paths with Kara Zor-El (Supergirl). Together, the determined young girl and the powerful Kryptonian embark on a perilous journey of initiation through the cosmos, forging an unbreakable friendship that will redefine the destinies of both heroines.
