SUPER SONICO - Super Sonico - Figure Yumemirize 14cm

SUPER SONICO – Super Sonico – Yumemirize 14 cm figurine

SEGA Goods welcomes Super Sonico to its Yumemirize collection with this figurine measuring approximately 14 cm. A far cry from her musical performances and photo shoots, this version depicts the Nitroplus mascot in a calmer, more everyday setting, dressed in a nightdress whilst still wearing her signature headphones.

Sonico is depicted kneeling in a relaxed pose, with one hand resting near her hip and the other raised towards her neck. Her pale pink nightdress is embellished with lace details and small ruffles, whilst her long pink hair has bluish highlights towards the ends. Her grey and black headphones frame her face, making the character instantly recognisable despite this unusual outfit.

Made from PVC, this figurine is part of SEGA’s Yumemirize range, which features popular characters in outfits and decorative settings that differ from their usual appearances. Its compact size of approximately 14 cm makes it easy to display in a showcase or alongside other Super Sonico figurines.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Super Sonico was originally the mascot for the NITRO SUPER SONIC music event, organised by the Japanese publisher Nitroplus. The character has gradually evolved beyond this initial role to become a model, video game character and musician. In her fictional universe, Sonico is also pursuing a university degree whilst carrying out her various professional activities.

She is best known as the singer and guitarist of the all-female band First Astronomical Velocity (Daiichi Uchuu Sokudo), where she performs alongside her bandmates Suzu Fujimi and Fuuri Watanuki. Her headphones, which she wears almost constantly, her long pink hair and her musical career are the main visual elements associated with the character.

Sonico’s popularity has also led to the creation of numerous games, merchandise and an animated series, *SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation*, announced by Nitroplus in 2013. This Yumemirize ‘Pajama Party!’ figurine, however, chooses to set aside her image as a stage musician to show a more everyday and relaxed side of the character, whilst retaining her signature headphones.
