Origin and world of the character
The character of the elite soldier Jesse (CT-5597) comes from the CGI animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, created by George Lucas. The story is set in the science fiction universe of the Star Wars cinematic prequel, tracing the major galactic conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In the story, Jesse is a proud and patriotic fighter in the famous 501st Legion, under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex. Recognisable by the imposing symbol of the Republic tattooed on his face and painted on his helmet, he distinguishes himself by his unwavering loyalty before being promoted to the prestigious rank of ARC (Advanced Recon Commando) soldier. His tragic fate embodies the moral complexity of clone soldiers, torn between their free will, their brotherhood in arms and the absolute biological conditioning imposed by Order 66 during the twilight of the Republic.
