Discover three iconic members of the Ghost’s crew with this Lothal Rebels set from Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. Inspired by the early days of *Star Wars Rebels*, this set brings together Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus in versions directly linked to their first missions against the Empire.
Sabine Wren is depicted as Spectre-5 in her colourful Mandalorian armour. She comes with two blasters, a removable helmet and a paint sprayer – an accessory that references her work as an artist and her habit of leaving her creations on Imperial equipment. This version bears the collection number VC425.
Ezra Bridger, Spectre-6, appears in a configuration inspired by his early adventures on Lothal. His figure includes a removable soldier’s helmet, a rucksack, his lightsaber and a deactivated lightsaber hilt. This version is listed as VC426. Kanan Jarrus, meanwhile, is depicted in a Stormtrooper disguise designed for infiltration missions. He features a removable helmet, his lightsaber, a deactivated lightsaber hilt and a blaster. His reference number in The Vintage Collection is VC427.
All three figures feature multiple points of articulation, as well as detailed sculpting and decoration suited to the 3.75-inch scale. In total, the set includes 12 accessories. Origin and character lore
Star Wars Rebels is set in the years leading up to the official formation of the Rebel Alliance. The story follows the crew of the Ghost, a small resistance cell fighting the Imperial occupation and coming to the aid of those suffering under the regime. The group consists of Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Garazeb Orrelios, Sabine Wren and, after meeting the crew on Lothal, Ezra Bridger. The members use the codenames Spectre-1 to Spectre-6.
Ezra Bridger grew up as an orphan on the streets of Lothal under Imperial occupation. His encounter with the crew of the Ghost turned his life upside down when Kanan discovered his sensitivity to the Force. Ezra gradually becomes his Padawan and adopts the codename Spectre-6, whilst finding a new family amongst the Rebels.
Kanan Jarrus is in fact Caleb Dume, a survivor of Order 66. After concealing his Jedi past for years, he gradually takes up his lightsaber once more and becomes Ezra’s master. He also takes on a leadership role aboard the Ghost and plays a direct part in the first resistance operations against the Empire.
Sabine Wren, Spectre-5, is a Mandalorian expert in weaponry, explosives and art. A former student at the Imperial Academy on Mandalore, she joins the Ghost’s Rebel cell and regularly repaints Imperial equipment in her own colourful style. Her starbird symbol would later feature in the imagery associated with the Rebel Alliance.
This Vintage Collection set therefore looks back at the early years of this rebel cell by featuring three characters in outfits directly inspired by their initial missions on Lothal and the first season of *Star Wars Rebels*.
