Character background and lore
Severely maimed and burnt following his legendary duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi on the lava planet Mustafar, Anakin Skywalker is narrowly saved by Darth Sidious. To survive, he is confined for all eternity within a highly sophisticated black survival suit, which serves both as an artificial lung and as combat armour. It is in this mechanical, dehumanised form that he will hunt down the last surviving Jedi and spread terror during the rise of the Empire.
