Character’s origin and universe
Directly inspired by the prequel trilogy and the landmark film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), this figure from the Star Wars Darkside collection features the fearsome and agile secret apprentice of Darth Sidious, Darth Maul. Hailing from the planet Dathomir, this Zabrak warrior was moulded to become a weapon of mass destruction against the Jedi Order. Revealed to the world during the invasion of Naboo, he left an indelible mark on the history of science fiction during his legendary battle against Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, performing his lethal acrobatics to the rhythm of the iconic score ‘Duel of the Fates’.
This Funko Pop! version faithfully captures his red and black facial tattoos, his crown of raised skull horns, his dark combat tunic and the translucent scarlet blades of his exotic weapon. True to the requirements of Funko’s Star Wars licence, its built-in spring mechanism allows his head to bob with the slightest movement, adding a unique and playful dynamic to your display case.
