This Sousai Shojo Teien model kit from Kotobukiya depicts Yakushiji Kuon wearing a qipao, an elegant Chinese outfit specially designed for this new version of the character. Produced on a 1/10 scale, the assembled model stands approximately 16.2 cm tall and features an articulated design allowing for a wide range of poses.
Kuon is depicted with a brand-new hairstyle consisting of two braided buns and a form-fitting outfit decorated with patterns that can be reproduced using the decals provided. Several interchangeable parts allow you to change her expression and posture: three pre-painted faces, three unpainted faces, several types of hands, as well as three variations of waist pieces suited to standing, dynamic or seated poses.
The kit also includes accessories directly linked to the costume’s theme: a bamboo steamer basket with a removable lid and three steamed buns. The basket has a 3 mm slot allowing Kuon to hold it using the suitable hands provided. An articulated display stand is also included to support the most dynamic poses.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Sousai Shojo Teien is an original range from Kotobukiya featuring various schoolgirls in a contemporary setting, with characters each possessing their own personality, school and activities. The model kits are designed to combine scenes from everyday life, customisation and articulated poses.
Yakushiji Kuon is a third-year pupil at Touou High School and a young actress. In the Sousai Shojo Teien universe, she plays, amongst other roles, Maria Kagaribi, the heroine of the fictional television series *Megalomaria Unlimited Universe*. This tokusatsu-style production exists directly within the narrative universe of Sousai Shojo Teien.
The Qipao Costume version is based precisely on this acting role. In the scenario associated with the model, Maria Kagaribi must infiltrate a Chinese restaurant, and Kuon thus portrays the character as she attempts to adapt to the unfamiliar work of a waitress. The qipao, steamer basket and buns included in the kit are used to recreate this scene and give this version a distinct identity from the school or combat outfits previously offered for Kuon.
