Origin and background of the character
Robbie the Rabbit is the official anthropomorphic mascot of Lakeside Amusement Park, having become one of the most striking, mysterious and memorable symbols of the survival-horror epic Silent Hill 3, created by Konami. This large pink rabbit in dungarees, sporting a frozen smile and wide, staring eyes, was originally designed to entertain children. However, when the heroine Heather Mason explores the park’s warped, nightmarish ruins, she discovers these rabbit costumes slumped on benches or smeared with blood, evoking a profound sense of unease linked to the loss of innocence and the distortion of reality.
This 13 cm soft toy perfectly captures the striking contrast between the sheer terror of the original work and the cuteness of a miniature version. The fabric design meticulously highlights its bright pink fur, long upright ears, little green velvet dungarees and purple bow tie. It is an absolute must-have for any gamer wishing to decorate their gaming space, office or bookcase with a touch of dark humour, forming a memorable pairing alongside the Red Pyramid Thing soft toy.
