Origin and character lore

The Shiunji Family Children is a romantic comedy created by Reiji Miyajima. The story follows the seven children of the Shiunji family, who live in a large mansion in the Setagaya district of Tokyo. Their daily lives are turned upside down when their father reveals that they are not biologically related, calling into question the relationships they had hitherto regarded as strictly sibling-like. The manga was adapted into an animated series by Doga Kobo in 2025.

Banri Shiunji is the eldest daughter of the family, aged 18. A first-year student at a prestigious university, she is studying nursing. The official website describes her as a young woman who is particularly well-liked for her gentle and calm nature, by both younger and older people alike.

With Arata, however, Banri shows a more mischievous side: she readily adopts a relaxed attitude and enjoys teasing him. She is voiced by Chika Anzai in the Japanese version of the anime.

This PM Perching Banri Shiunji figurine thus honours one of the central figures of the siblings and can be combined with the other characters from *The Shiunji Family Children* to form a collection dedicated to the Shiunji family.
