This officially licensed Pokémon Fluffy rucksack is dedicated to Charmander, one of the most iconic Pokémon from the first generation. Designed by CYP Brands, it combines the practicality of a small rucksack with a soft, plush finish. Measuring 30 × 23 × 12 cm, it is designed to carry small everyday items whilst remaining compact. The manufacturer describes this product as a ‘functional plush rucksack’ made from materials that are both soft and durable.
The design directly echoes Charmander’s colours, with an orange surface covered in a fluffy material. The top of the bag features his face, complete with large embroidered eyes and his characteristic smile. An additional pocket on the front bears the white inscription ‘#0004’, a direct reference to Charmander’s number in the National Pokédex.
The front pocket features a contrasting zip and a zip pull decorated with a Poké Ball. A red handle on top makes it easy to carry, whilst the shoulder straps allow the bag to be worn like a classic rucksack. The combination of the orange colour, the plush texture and the embroidered details gives the bag an instantly recognisable look whilst retaining its practical storage function.

Origin and character lore
Charmander is Pokémon No. 0004 in the National Pokédex. It is a Fire-type Pokémon and one of the three iconic starter Pokémon of the Kanto region, alongside Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Its traditional ability is Blaze, which enhances its Fire-type abilities as its HP decreases.
One of Charmander’s most recognisable features is the flame that burns constantly at the tip of its tail. This characteristic, combined with its orange, small reptilian appearance, has helped make it one of the most easily identifiable Pokémon of the first generation. It subsequently evolves into Charizard, Pokémon No. 0005, and then into Charizard, No. 0006, which also gains the Flying type.
In the anime series, Charmander also plays an important role in Ash’s team. Initially abandoned by its first Trainer, it is rescued and joins Ash before evolving successively into Charmeleon and Charizard. The number ‘#0004’ printed on the front pocket of this bag is therefore a direct reference to its historical position in the Pokédex.
