Origin and background of the character
Created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996 for Nintendo, the Pokémon franchise is a global pop culture phenomenon. The story centres on the adventures of Trainers travelling the world to capture and train creatures in order to win the title of Pokémon Master. Blaziken is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in the first generation in the Red and Blue versions. Evolving from Vulpix when exposed to a Fire Stone, this four-legged creature resembles a sacred Asian fox with golden fur and nine majestic tails. According to the Pokédex, each of its tails holds a mystical power and it is capable of living for a thousand years. This Funko Pop! figurine faithfully captures its haughty yet graceful appearance, making it a must-have item for any Trainer keen to complete their Kanto collection.
