Learn about anatomy whilst having fun!
The Plannosaurus concept is based on a ‘Skeleton and Skin’ approach that fascinates young and old alike. The Archelon, with its distinctive skeletal structure and carapace lacking hard plates, is the ideal subject for understanding the evolution of marine reptiles.
Key features of this model kit:
- Exciting Two-Stage Assembly: The kit guides you through the complete assembly of the Archelon’s skeleton. Once finished, you can add the outer skin pieces to see what the animal looked like when alive.
- Scientific Accuracy: The model faithfully reproduces the species’ characteristics, notably its powerful beak and immense front flippers.
- Realistic Joints: The head and flippers are movable, allowing you to simulate the majestic swimming motion of this giant turtle on its base.
- Tool-Free ‘Snap-fit’ Assembly: Designed to be accessible, this model requires no glue or pliers. The parts detach easily from the sprues for a neat and rewarding assembly.
- Display Base Included: A transparent blue stand is provided to showcase the Archelon in an elegant swimming pose, ideal for decorating a shelf.
