Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The POP! Pets collection pays tribute to the most popular pets that share our daily lives. The Persian cat is one of the oldest and most famous breeds in the world, originating in ancient Persia (modern-day Iran). Introduced to Europe in the 17th century, it quickly won over the nobility and royal courts thanks to its opulent appearance and exceptionally gentle temperament. Characterised by an Olympian calm, an aristocratic gait and a great need for tranquillity, the Persian is the indoor cat par excellence. Its peaceful nature and home-loving disposition make it an ideal and comforting companion.
