Origin and background of the character
The character of Schroeder comes from the famous American comic strip Peanuts, created by the author and cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in 1950. The story is set in an ordinary suburban neighbourhood and follows the everyday, sometimes philosophical, musings of a group of children and the famous beagle Snoopy. Schroeder is a young boy who stands out for his musical precocity and his total obsession with the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Sitting on the floor in front of his miniature toy piano, he is capable of playing the most complex classical pieces, remaining completely unfazed by Lucy van Pelt’s persistent attempts to charm him. This figurine draws direct inspiration from his timeless design to celebrate the union of childhood and musical genius. Its sleek, minimalist style highlights the character’s concentration and artistic devotion, ready to add a melodious touch to collectors’ shelves.
