Origin and character’s universe
Joe Fixit (also known as the Grey Hulk) is an alter ego and a specific psychological incarnation of Bruce Banner in the comics published by Marvel. Unlike the traditional version of the Green Hulk, driven by savage, primitive rage, Joe Fixit displays the personality of a cynical, cunning and manipulative gangster with average intelligence. Historically based in Las Vegas, where he worked as a bouncer and gangster for the local underworld under the pseudonym Mr Fixit, he favours the use of firearms, elegant bespoke suits and Borsalino-style felt hats, despite his superhuman strength. The ‘Pop! Super’ range of figurines explores this retro comic-book design through a stylised interpretation that highlights his colossal build in gangster attire.
