Origin and background of the character
The ghosts are the eternal pursuers and most iconic figures of the Pac-Man arcade franchise, created by Toru Iwatani for Namco in 1980. Whether it’s Blinky the red, Pinky the pink, Inky the blue or Clyde the orange, this colourful quartet has unique movement patterns and personalities designed to trap the famous Pac-Man as he navigates the corridors. True icons of pop culture and retro gaming, these ghosts have spanned generations to establish themselves as intergenerational symbols of video games.
This 27 cm soft toy perfectly captures the rounded silhouette and retro design of these legendary adversaries. It highlights their characteristic large, expressive eyes and the wavy base simulating their levitation. The attention to detail in the stitching and the soft texture of its filling make it a piece that is as pleasant to handle as it is to display, essential for bringing a nostalgic and playful atmosphere to a gamer’s bedroom or living room.
