Origin and character background
Sabo is the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army, acting as Monkey D. Dragon’s direct right-hand man in the monumental series One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. A blood brother and spiritual brother to Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace, this former nobleman of the Kingdom of Goa fled his family to embrace a life of freedom on the seas before being rescued from a tragic shipwreck by the revolutionaries. Having inherited Ace’s will and destructive powers by consuming the Logia-type Devil Fruit Mera Mera no Mi during the Dressrosa tournament, he now commands waves of blazing flames which he combines with his unique martial combat style, the ‘Dragon’s Claws ". Banpresto’s renowned “Grandista” collection applies all its expertise here to precisely sculpt the iconic details of his revolutionary outfit, his black top hat adorned with goggles, the scar over his left eye, and the look of absolute confidence in his gaze.
