Character’s origin and universe
In the epic One Piece saga, King — whose real name is Alber — is one of Emperor Kaido’s three right-hand men, holding the rank of ‘All-Star’ at the head of the Hundred Beasts Crew. He is the only known survivor of the Lunariens, a long-extinct divine race capable of living in the most hostile environments and manipulating fire. Wearing a full black leather suit and a mask to conceal his features and protect the secrets of his origins, King possesses large natural black wings and a flame that burns constantly on his back. A master user of the ancient Zoan-type Devil Fruit, the Ryu Ryu no Mi (Pteranodon model), he can transform into a prehistoric flying reptile of phenomenal speed and destructive power. His fierce duel against Roronoa Zoro during the Wano War reveals his true nobility and his absolute devotion to Kaido.
