Origin and character background
Monkey D. Luffy is the central protagonist of the monumental work One Piece, the legendary manga created by Eiichiro Oda. During his epic final showdown with Emperor Kaido on the roof of Onigashima, Luffy awakens the true power of his Devil Fruit, revealing that he actually possesses the mythical Zoan of the ancient Sun God, Nika. In this form, known as Gear 5, his hair and clothes turn pure white, his eyes glow, and his body gains absolute elastic freedom, allowing him to fight in a cartoon-like manner completely unbound by the laws of physics. As the bearer of the drums of liberation, he brings joy and freedom wherever he goes. This Funko POP! figure perfectly captures the iconic look and boundless energy of this historic transformation, establishing itself as an essential centrepiece to crown your collection.
