Origin and character background
The Pacifista is a combat cyborg secretly developed by the Navy’s scientific division under the direction of the brilliant Dr Vegapunk within the monumental One Piece series, created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. Modelled on the colossal anatomy of the former Grand Pirate Bartholomew Kuma, these weapons of mass destruction were designed to tip the scales of justice decisively against the waves of piracy in the New World. In addition to being virtually invulnerable thanks to their modified bodies, they are equipped with devastating lasers installed in their mouths and palms, directly replicated from Admiral Kizaru’s Light Fruit powers. Banpresto’s “Mega WCF” collection aims to capture the full intimidating aura of these military units in a stylised 13 cm format, offering enthusiasts an ideal centrepiece for recreating memorable scenes from the Sabaody Archipelago or the Egghead arc on their shelves.
