Character background and universe
Monkey D. Luffy and Brook share a deep, musical bond forged during the memorable Thriller Bark arc in the monumental One Piece series, created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. Brook, a musician resurrected as a living skeleton thanks to the Resurrection Fruit (Yomi Yomi no Mi), wandered alone in the ocean mist for fifty years, deprived of his shadow and his deceased companions. His fate takes a turn when the Straw Hat Captain spontaneously invites him to join his crew, moved by his story and delighted to fulfil his dream of finally having a musician on board. Banpresto’s specialist “WCF Log Stories” collection stands out by distilling the franchise’s most iconic emotions and narrative interactions into a stylised miniature format with impeccable detail, ideal for enhancing the display case of any passionate collector.
