Origin and character background
Borsalino, feared worldwide under his alias Admiral Kizaru (the Yellow Monkey), embodies the doctrine of ‘Uncertain Justice’ at the heart of the masterpiece One Piece, created by the genius mangaka Eiichiro Oda. Usually calm in temperament, sarcastic and exaggeratedly slow in his manner of speech, he conceals one of the most cataclysmic and rapid powers in the universe thanks to the Devil Fruit of Light (Pika Pika no Mi). This Logia-type Devil Fruit allows him to transform his body into beams of light, move at the speed of light and generate devastating laser blasts, making him a relentless executioner of the Worst Generation during the Sabaody and Marineford incidents.
This 12 cm figure from the "Figure Life" collection perfectly captures the imposing presence and nonchalant attitude of this legendary admiral. The sculpture meticulously highlights his high-ranking military attire, comprising his yellow and white striped suit, his distinctive tinted sunglasses, and his long officer’s coat bearing the kanji for ‘Justice’ draped over his shoulders. His facial expression, blending irony and quiet concentration, perfectly captures the danger he poses on the seas, establishing him as an absolute centrepiece to be placed alongside Akainu Sakazuki to recreate the intensity of the anime’s climactic battles.
