Narrative context and universe (Lore)
In theOne Piece universe, Tony-Tony Chopper is a blue-nosed reindeer from the winter island of Drum. After eating theHito Hito no Mi(Human-Human Fruit), he gains the ability to speak, think and transform. Trained in medicine by doctors Hiluluk and Kureha, he joins Monkey D. Luffy’s crew as ship’s doctor in order to pursue his dream of developing a cure capable of healing all illnesses.
This figurine depicts his default transformation, theBrain Point(hybrid form). It is in this form that Chopper spends most of his time aboard the Thousand Sunny, combining his small stature, reindeer antlers and his iconic hat—a gift from his mentor Hiluluk adorned with the medical cross, which he keeps throughout his travels across the Grand Line.
