Character background and lore
Created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997, Tony Tony Chopper is a blue-nosed reindeer who ate the Human-Human Fruit (Hito Hito no Mi), granting him human intelligence and the ability to transform. Rejected by his own kind and later taken in by Dr Hiluluk and Dr Kureha on Drum Island, he developed exceptional medical expertise in the hope of one day being able to cure all the world’s illnesses.
As the fifth member to join Luffy and the Grand Line crew, Chopper became their indispensable ship’s doctor and iconic official mascot. This themed mug celebrates his big heart, his innocence and his unwavering loyalty, bringing a touch of the magic of the pirate world to your daily routine.
