Origin and universe of the characters
Portgas D. Ace, with his fiery fists, and Marshall D. Teach, alias Blackbeard, are at the heart of the turning point in the global epic One Piece, created by the genius mangaka Eiichiro Oda. Once brothers-in-arms within Whitebeard’s crew, their destinies take a dramatic turn when Teach commits the unpardonable act of murdering a comrade to seize the Dark-Dark Fruit (Yami Yami no Mi). Consumed by duty and honour, Ace tracks the traitor across the Grand Line until their inevitable showdown on Banaro Island. This titanic duel between the devastating fire of the Mera Mera no Mi and the infinite gravity of darkness ends with Ace’s capture, thus triggering the memorable war at the summit of Marineford.
This 8 cm figure from the "Log Stories" collection perfectly captures the dramatic tension of this legendary encounter through a carefully crafted display. It depicts Ace and Blackbeard face to face, capturing their characteristic determined or provocative facial expressions and iconic clothing styles on a textured base serving as a small piece of terrain. The meticulous attention to detail, despite the compact size, makes this an absolute must-have for any fan wishing to recreate the historic clash that reshaped the balance of the pirate world.
