This High Premium figurine from SEGA Goods depicts Amaterasu, the iconic protagonist of Capcom’s video game Ōkami. Standing approximately 14 cm tall, it portrays the sun goddess in her white wolf form, depicted here in a calm and majestic seated pose. Made from PVC, this pre-painted figurine is designed to be displayed as part of a collection dedicated to Ōkami or Capcom’s video game universes.

The design faithfully reproduces the character’s key visual elements. The white fur is adorned with the red patterns characteristic of Amaterasu, particularly around the eyes, forehead and paws. Character background and lore

Amaterasu is the main character in Ōkami, an action-adventure game developed by Clover Studio and published by Capcom. She embodies the Japanese Sun Goddess in the form of a legendary white wolf. Her adventure takes place in a fantastical version of Japan ravaged by darkness following the return of Orochi, a powerful eight-headed demon. Amaterasu must travel across the land to restore nature, restore hope to its inhabitants and gradually regain all her divine powers.

One of the game’s key features is the Celestial Brush. This ability allows Amaterasu to directly interact with her environment by drawing shapes on the screen as if with a calligraphy brush: summoning the sun, restoring vegetation, creating elements or intervening during battles. This mechanic is directly linked to the artistic direction of Ōkami, which draws heavily on the Japanese art of sumi-e ink painting.

Amaterasu also possesses various Divine Instruments that serve as weapons, including circular mirrors known as Reflectors. The flaming disc depicted on the back of this figurine is a direct reference to this aspect of her in-game appearance. Her red markings, white fur and brush-like tail complete a silhouette that has become iconic within the Ōkami universe.
