This official Nintendo keyring from Pyramid International is modelled on the famous Super Nintendo Entertainment System controller, better known by its abbreviation, SNES. Its design captures the rounded shape and distinctive layout of the 16-bit console’s controls in a miniature format that’s easy to attach to a set of keys or a bag.
Made from soft rubber, the pendant measures approximately 4.5 × 6 cm. The various elements of the controller are reproduced in relief, including the D-pad, the central buttons and the four action buttons, to preserve the instantly recognisable appearance of the original Nintendo accessory.
Compact and lightweight, this keyring is particularly aimed at fans of retro video games and collectors of Nintendo merchandise. It can also be used as a bag charm to personalise a rucksack, a satchel or a zip.

Product origin and lore
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, or SNES, is the 16-bit console that succeeded the Nintendo Entertainment System. It became one of Nintendo’s iconic consoles and featured many of the publisher’s major franchises as well as numerous games developed by third-party studios.
Its controller marked a significant evolution from that of the NES. It adopted a more rounded shape and notably added two extra action buttons as well as top triggers, bringing the number of main buttons to a level better suited to the more complex games of the 16-bit generation.
This layout, with four action buttons arranged in a diamond shape, would have a lasting influence on the design of video game controllers. Several design principles introduced or popularised by this controller can still be seen in modern controllers.
Thanks to its instantly recognisable design, the SNES controller has now become a true icon of retro gaming. This keyring incorporates its key visual elements in a miniature format, designed for Nintendo fans and collectors.
