Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Based on the novel by William Peter Blatty and directed by William Friedkin in 1973, The Exorcist is often regarded as the scariest film in cinema history. The plot follows the story of Regan, an innocent young girl who begins to display inexplicable and violent behaviour after tampering with a Ouija board. A victim of possession by the ancient demonic entity Pazuzu, her body and mind become the battleground for an intense theological battle waged by two Jesuit priests during a harrowing exorcism ritual. This figurine captures all the macabre intensity of this absolute icon of modern horror cinema.
