Origin and background of the work (Lore)
Created by the Finnish novelist and illustrator Tove Jansson, Little My is an integral part of the Moomin Valley, famous for her tiny stature—which allows her to hide anywhere—but above all for her explosive and intrepid personality. Completely unfazed by the rules of propriety, she approaches the world with a disarming pragmatism and an honesty that can sometimes be rather sharp. This kit celebrates Little My’s lively spirit: behind her grumpy demeanour and legendary mischief lies a creature endowed with immense inner strength and a sharp imagination. For her, the outside world is a permanent playground where every everyday object can be reinvented according to her whims and her fierce independence, reminding us of the importance of preserving one’s authenticity and creative spark.
