Light up your gaming space with one of Minecraft’s most unusual creatures thanks to this Icon lamp featuring a Chicken Jockey. Designed by Paladone under official licence, this decorative 3D lamp depicts a baby zombie perched on the back of a chicken in the game’s signature cubic style.
The chicken is depicted with a white body, cubic wings, yellow legs and a small red crest. The baby zombie sits directly on its back, arms stretched out in front. Its green skin, turquoise top and purple trousers reflect the instantly recognisable colours of the zombies from the Minecraft universe.
When switched on, the figurine gives off a soft, warm glow. It can be used as a small mood light, a night light or a decorative light on a bedside table, a desk, a shelf or as part of a gaming setup. Its compact size means it can easily be incorporated into a collection of Icon Paladone lamps.
The lamp runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included. Its cordless design means it can be moved and positioned freely, without needing to be placed near a power socket.

The Riding Chicken is a rare combination of two Minecraft creatures: a baby zombie and a chicken. The young undead creature uses the animal as a mount, benefiting from its fast and unpredictable movements, making it a much harder opponent to hit than an ordinary zombie.
The chicken retains its usual behaviour whilst carrying its passenger. It can move quickly, jump over small obstacles and slow its fall by flapping its wings. The baby zombie, meanwhile, remains hostile towards the player and attempts to attack them as soon as they are within range.
This pairing is particularly surprising given the contrast between the two creatures. The chicken is normally one of the passive animals in the Minecraft world, whilst the zombie is a monster that mainly spawns in the dark. Their combination transforms a familiar animal into a mount for one of the game’s most agile enemies.
Ridden chickens have become popular with players due to their amusing appearance and relative rarity. Their small size, speed and erratic movements can, however, make them dangerous, especially when they appear during a night-time exploration or in a confined space.
This lamp faithfully recreates this unlikely scene: the baby zombie, arms outstretched, is perched on the chicken as if preparing to chase the player. Its warm glow, however, transforms this hostile encounter into an original decorative item for Minecraft enthusiasts.
