Part of Kotobukiya’s Megami Device range, this special edition PUNI☆MOFU Racing Lang combines the character designed by illustrator BLADE with a replica of the ’78 Honda Z50J Gorilla. The result of a collaboration between Kotobukiya, Honda and Aoshima Bunka Kyozai, the set includes an articulated model kit of Lang measuring approximately 14 cm and a 1/12-scale model of the famous Honda mini-motorbike.
For this Racing version, Lang sports a new grey and dark grey colour scheme accented with touches of pink, specially developed to complement the motorbike. His eyes also feature a new colour scheme to match this outfit. The kit includes two pre-painted faces from the original PUNI☆MOFU Lang — a smiling expression and a mischievous one — as well as a helmet to enhance his rider look.
The body is based on the Machineca Block2-M articulated system designed by Masaki Apsy. Its wide range of movement makes it possible to position Lang naturally on the Honda Gorilla. The figure can also be assembled in Body Mode – a configuration without armour – thanks to the interchangeable parts. Three types of hands are included: open hands, clenched fists and hands designed to hold accessories. A display stand allows the model to be displayed separately from the motorbike.
The included 1978 Honda Z50J Gorilla is a 1/12 scale Aoshima model, presented in an original colour scheme created specifically for this collaboration. Unlike Lang, where assembly relies mainly on snapping the parts together, certain parts of the motorbike require the use of plastic model glue. Lang’s numerous standardised 3 mm connectors also allow the kit to be combined with parts from several other Kotobukiya collections.

Megami Device is an original range from Kotobukiya combining bishōjo-style characters with modular weapons, armour and mechanical equipment. The characters are based on the Machineca articulated body system developed by Masaki Apsy and utilise numerous 3 mm connection points to facilitate weapon swapping and customisation. Kotobukiya conceptually presents these Megami Device figures as customisable models designed to take part in robot battles.
PUNI☆MOFU Lang is the third main character in the PUNI☆MOFU sub-series. Her design is by BLADE and aims to combine the cute aesthetic characteristic of this collection with a ‘big sister’ personality. The Racing version retains this identity but replaces her usual outfit with one specifically designed for the collaboration with Honda.
The motorbike chosen for this edition also has a unique history. The Honda Gorilla was launched in 1978 as a model related to the Monkey. It shares most of its engine and chassis with the Monkey, but notably features a 9-litre fuel tank, a larger seat, a front luggage rack and a four-speed manual gearbox, making it better suited to leisure use and short trips.
This Racing edition therefore combines two worlds of scale models: the customisable Megami Device system and a 1/12-scale reproduction of a real, iconic little Honda motorbike. Kotobukiya sums up the concept by presenting the Gorilla as the ‘sister’ to the Monkey, now ridden by Lang in this PUNI☆MOFU × Honda collaboration.
