Origin and backstory of the character
Few people know the feral mutant by his real birth name, James Howlett; most call him Logan or by his vigilante codename, Wolverine. Endowed with an accelerated healing factor, hyper-developed senses and a skeleton entirely coated in adamantium — an indestructible metal —, he possesses six razor-sharp retractable claws that make him one of the most formidable fighters on Earth. Despite his lone-wolf nature and reluctance to join a team, he has become a historic mainstay of Professor Xavier’s X-Men. This exclusive set captures Wolverine in his iconic fighting pose, perfectly recreating the atmosphere and retro art style of the famous comic book *Wolverine #17*, creating a must-have centrepiece for all vintage comic book enthusiasts and fans of the Marvel Universe.
