MARVEL - Marvel's Elsa Bloodstone - Figure Legend Series 15cm

Meet Elsa Bloodstone, the famous monster hunter from the Marvel Universe, with this 15 cm articulated figure from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Series. This version is inspired by the character’s appearance in Marvel Zombies #1 (2015), Nextwave and other Marvel comics. It thus captures one of the most recognisable designs of this specialist in supernatural creatures.

Elsa is depicted with her long red hair and her monster-hunter outfit, inspired by her appearance in the comics. Her equipment and costume reflect the character’s action-oriented nature, whilst the figure’s articulated design allows for a variety of combat and shooting poses.

The figure features articulation at the head, arms and legs to facilitate posing. It comes with a total of six accessories, including two alternative hands, several weapons and a plastic, scale-accurate reproduction of the alternative cover for Marvel Zombies #1 from 2015. This accessory makes a direct reference to the comic that served as one of the main visual inspirations for this edition.

Presented in retro blister pack packaging, this Elsa Bloodstone can be added to a Marvel Legends collection dedicated to Marvel’s supernatural heroes or displayed alongside other characters from the Mini Comic series. Its 15 cm size corresponds to the standard scale of the Marvel Legends Series range.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Elsa Bloodstone is a monster hunter and the daughter of Ulysses Bloodstone, one of the most famous experts on supernatural creatures in the Marvel Universe. Following her father’s death, she discovers her heritage and is given the Bloodgem, a mystical stone that grants her, amongst other things, superhuman strength and exceptional resilience. She then decides to carry on the family tradition by battling monsters, demons and other supernatural threats.

The character first appeared in the early 2000s in the *Bloodstone* series. Elsa quickly established herself as a particularly effective fighter thanks to her training, her in-depth knowledge of supernatural creatures and an extensive arsenal of firearms and specialised equipment. Her forthright nature, sharp wit and self-assurance gradually became defining characteristics of the character.

Elsa subsequently joined the Nextwave team, a period that played a major role in shaping her modern appearance and personality. She also took part in several adventures alongside characters linked to Marvel’s supernatural universe, notably Morbius, Werewolf by Night and other members of the Legion of Monsters.

In the 2015 ‘Marvel Zombies’, one of the main inspirations for this figurine, Elsa is tasked with defending the Shield of Battleworld against hordes of zombies. When she discovers a child stranded in the Deadlands, she ventures amongst the infected in an attempt to save her. This story also explores her complex relationship with the memory of her father and her legacy as a monster hunter.

This Marvel Legends figure thus combines several key periods in Elsa Bloodstone’s history, particularly her ‘Nextwave’ aesthetic and her central role in *Marvel Zombies* #1.
