Bring together the two sides of the same anti-hero with this POP! figurine Marvel No. 1627 Eddie Brock / Venom. Designed by Funko, this ‘Split’ version depicts both the journalist Eddie Brock and the alien symbiote Venom simultaneously, showcasing their union in a composition divided into two complementary parts.
The human side depicts Eddie Brock with his blond hair, his face uncovered and a civilian outfit consisting of a dark jacket and blue trousers. The other half gradually reveals Venom: the symbiote’s black substance covers his body, transforms his face and brings out his distinctive large white eye.
The Venom half incorporates the character’s iconic features: shiny black skin, enhanced musculature, an elongated white eye and a hand transformed into claws. The contrast with Eddie Brock’s more ordinary appearance highlights the close relationship between the two beings and the power each derives from their union.
Made from vinyl, this bobblehead figurine stands approximately 9.9 cm tall. It comes in an illustrated window box bearing the number 1627 and can be displayed with or without its packaging. Funko presents it as a representation of the anti-hero’s two identities, designed to complement the Marvel and Venom collections.

Eddie Brock is a journalist whose career and reputation have taken a turn for the worse following a series of events he attributes in part to Spider-Man. This shared resentment towards the hero becomes a key factor when he encounters an alien organism known as the symbiote.
The symbiote had previously been bonded to Peter Parker. After being rejected by Spider-Man, it retains some of his abilities and also develops a deep resentment towards its former host. When it fuses with Eddie Brock, their emotions and objectives combine to give rise to Venom.
The union grants Eddie superhuman strength, considerable resilience, the ability to cling to surfaces and to produce organic filaments. The symbiote can also alter its appearance, form claws, create weapons and completely envelop its host in a protective black shell.
Venom is long portrayed as one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous enemies. Unlike many adversaries, he knows Peter Parker’s secret identity and does not trigger his spider-sense, making him particularly difficult to anticipate.
However, the relationship between Eddie and the symbiote evolves over the course of the stories. Their hatred of Spider-Man gradually gives way to a distinct moral code: Venom protects the innocent, but uses methods far more brutal than those of traditional heroes. This evolution allows him to become a fully-fledged anti-hero.
The split design of this POP! figure directly illustrates this duality. Eddie Brock retains part of his human appearance whilst Venom gradually takes possession of the other half of his body, embodying the physical and psychological bond that unites the host with his symbiote.
