Origin and world of the characters
This version of the characters is part of the Star Wars science fiction franchise. It combines elements of the narrative of The Mandalorian series with the character of Rotta the Hutt, introduced chronologically in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008). Rotta, nicknamed "the Kitten", is the young son of crime lord Jabba the Hutt. His abduction by Separatist forces was the major dramatic event of the Clone Wars, forcing the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano to lead a rescue mission to the planet Teth in order to secure a free passage agreement for the Republic through Hutt-controlled space.
