THE POWERPUFF GIRLS - Kwistal Battle Ready Series - Display 6 Fig.

Mighty Jaxx brings the world of the Powerpuff Girls to life in its Kwistal collection with the Battle Ready Series, a range of collectable figurines depicting the heroines and their adversaries in dynamic battle poses. This display contains 6 blind boxes and captures the vibrant aesthetic of the animated series through the crystallised finish characteristic of the Kwistal range.

The main collection features six characters: Belle (Blossom), Bulle (Bubbles), Rebelle (Buttercup), Mojo Jojo, Lui (HIM) and Princess Plénozas (Princess Morbucks). The three Powerpuff Girls are depicted using their superhuman abilities, whilst their adversaries feature their own combat effects and accessories. The series also includes an Ultimate Rare Chase figure, the inclusion of which in a display is not guaranteed.

The Kwistal design is characterised by the use of translucent surfaces, faceted edges and prismatic effects, which give the characters a crystal-inspired appearance. The power effects also feature glow-in-the-dark elements, accentuating the spectacle of the attacks and the conflict between Townsville’s heroines and their enemies.

Each figure measures approximately 10 cm and is made primarily from ABS and PVC. The blind box packaging keeps the character’s identity a secret until the box is opened. A sealed display pack contains six individual boxes; the rare figure is distributed at random and is therefore not guaranteed.

Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

The Super Nanas, known internationally as The Powerpuff Girls, are three young superheroines accidentally created by Professor Utonium when he mixed sugar, spice, everything nice and the mysterious Chemical X. Belle, Bulle and Rebelle thus possess considerable strength, the ability to fly and various powers which they use to protect the city of Townsville.

Blossom is generally portrayed as the leader of the trio, thoughtful and organised. Bubbles has a gentler and more spontaneous nature, though she is no less formidable in battle. Buttercup is the most impulsive of the three and particularly enjoys direct confrontation. Despite their young age, they must regularly balance their everyday lives with their role as the city’s protectors.

Among their recurring adversaries is Mojo Jojo, a chimpanzee of exceptional intelligence who is obsessed with conquering Townsville. A diabolical and manipulative character, he is one of the most menacing threats in the series. Princess Plénozas is a wealthy and spoilt child who, jealous of the Powerpuff Girls’ powers, regularly seeks to outdo them or become a heroine herself.

The Kwistal Battle Ready Series draws directly on this constant conflict between the three heroines and their enemies. The collection’s attack poses, power effects and crystalline aesthetic thus transform the iconic showdowns from the animated series into figurines designed for display.
